Pośredniczka w handlu nieruchomościami Carrigan Crittenden odkrywa, że w starej ruderze, którą odziedziczyła po ojcu ukryty jest skarb. Nie mogąc sobie poradzić ze złośliwymi duchami, które bronią do niego dostępu, Carrigan wynajmuje dom doktorowi Harveyowi, pogromcy duchów.
