Franck (Jalil Lespert), młody absolwent dużej paryskiej szkoły biznesu decyduje się na staż w „dziale zasobów ludzkich” w fabryce w swoim rodzinnym regionie, Normandii. Cechą charakterystyczną tej fabryki jest to, że należy do jego ojca, który jest pracownikiem od ponad 30 lat.
